Report a link

Report a Shotbolt link you believe is illegal or breaks our terms. Only the link is needed, never the content.

The form

Anyone can report a Shotbolt link they believe is illegal or breaks our terms. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to keep out automated abuse. You never need to download or attach the content.

One report per link. Do not attach or send the content itself.

The reason

If you name a law, tell us which. We decide without viewing the content, so explain clearly.

When you start filling in this form, it loads Cloudflare Turnstile, a check against automated reports.

Before you report

Child sexual abuse material. Do not download, copy, screenshot or forward the content to anyone, including us: doing so can itself be a crime. Report only the link. You can also report it to the Dutch hotline of Offlimits (Meldpunt Kinderporno) at meldpunt.offlimits.nl/en or to the police.

Someone in danger. If someone is in immediate danger, call 112. When a report or anything else makes us suspect a crime that threatens someone's life or safety, we inform the police.

What happens next

  • If you gave an email address, we confirm that we received your report, with a report number.
  • A report of child sexual abuse material or terrorist content makes the link inaccessible at once, automatically, before anyone reads the report. The same happens when 3 different people report the same link. This pause can be undone if the report turns out to be wrong.
  • A person decides on every report, usually within 2 working days, and reports of child sexual abuse material and terrorist content first. We tell you the decision by email.
  • No one at Shotbolt views the reported content. We decide on the basis of your report and information about the link (its type, size, age and the account's history). This protects the people who handle reports and keeps our promise to users. So please explain clearly why the content is illegal.

The Digital Services Act page explains the rest: statements of reasons, how to challenge a decision and how authorities reach us.
